Horatio Alger Scholarship - Full time seniors planning to enter college in the fall - - Due October

Coca Cola Scholarship - Students who have been involved in numerous school and community activities.There is no paper application. Apply on line – Due October

Jack Kent Cooke Young Scholars scholarship  - The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation College Scholarship Program is an undergraduate scholarship program available to high-achieving high school seniors with financial need who seek to attend the nation’s best four-year colleges and universities. College Scholars receive up to $40,000 per year, college planning support, ongoing advising, and the opportunity to network with the larger JKCF Scholar community. The application period is open from late September to late November. Up to 40 College Scholars are selected for this program each year.

AXA Achievement Scholarship - A winner in every state, scholarships of $10,000 and $25,000 - – Due December

Ronald McDonald House Charities U.S. Scholarship Program - Graduating senior who is an exemplary role model in your community and has the initiative to fulfill their educational goals - – Due December

Burger King McLamore Foundation Scholarship - High school seniors, Burger King employees, their dependent children, spouses or domestic partners are eligible to receive up to $50,000 in scholarship awards - - Due January

Vincennes University Foundation Scholarship - Must be admitted or a current student at Vincennes University - - Due January

Knights of Pythias - Grand Domain of Indiana - Educational Assistance Program - High school seniors with GPA of 3.0 or better, admitted to an accredited college or university. - - Due January

Nancy Jaynes Memorial Scholarship Award - Indiana High School Senior whose parent is battling breast cancer or who has lost a parent to breast cancer - – Due February

Best Buy Scholarship - Student must have a 3.5 or better GPA and must be involved in numerous community service projects - – Due February

Beta Sigma Psi Educational Foundation - Applicants should be male, confirmed members of a Lutheran congregation, and attending college in the Fall 2013 semester – Due February

Buick Achievers Scholarship Program - High school seniors and current undergraduates who plan to enroll full-time at a four-year college or university in 2013-2014, plan to major in a field of study that focuses on engineering, technology, design or business, with an interest in the automotive industry - – Due February

Harold Ellison Scholarship - This scholarship pays for tuition and room and board at Ball State University.  It is only good at BSU.  Applicants must be nominated by the school counselor, BUT students may only be nominated IF they have ALREADY been awarded the BSU Presidential Award Scholarship.  Let your counselor know if you receive the BSU Presidential award so that you can be nominated for the Ellison.  Students must also possess special skills in fine or performing arts, writing, athletics, and leadership.  Applicants must have achieved distinguished academic performances as well. – Due February

William H Yohler Memorial Scholarship - Parents, guardians, or applicant must be a member of Prime Trust Financial FCU at least one year prior to application deadline.  3.0 GPA, 3 letters of recommendation, and an essay.  See website for more information – – Due March

Clifford and Daisie Amburn Scholarship - Available to Delaware County high school seniors who are majoring in elementary education. Preference is given to those with financial need.  Must maintain a 2.0 GPA.  Renewable for four years. – Due March

Ruth Glaser Bryan Scholarship - Students who plan to major in art at a recognized art institute or a college/university having a recognized art department.  The applicant must have an overall GPA of 2.5 or higher in order to apply.  The scholarship is worth up to $5000. This is a very good art scholarship.  If you plan to major in art, this is an excellent application to fill out! – Due March

Mary K. Garr Scholarship - A committee submits 2 nominees based on character, intelligence, field of study and institution where the applicant proposes to study, preference will be given to applicants seeking a degree in medicine or registered nursing, and financial need. – Due March

Kuhner Memorial Scholarship - Available to Delaware County high school seniors who are majoring in engineering, theology, food chemistry and other related sciences. Preference given to students who have limited financial circumstances and who might not otherwise be able to obtain an adequate college education.  Must maintain a 2.0 GPA. Renewable for four years. – Due March

Soroptimist Scholarship - Seniors attending Daleville High School or Anderson High School or current Soroptimist Scholarship recipient who wish to renew, have a GPA between 1.8 and 2.8 - Guidance Office or - Due March

Muncie Rotary Club INGUARD Scholarship - Self-Reliance Award - Delaware County, Indiana graduating high school seniors who have overcome tremendous obstacles in their lives, demonstrated remarkable self-reliance, and will graduating this spring. – Due March

Kathleen Rozelle-Camplin Scholarship - Awarded to graduating seniors of Daleville High School who are planning to attend any recognized institute of post high school studies. Selection is based on scholarship, community service, citizenship, and participation in school activities. - Information available in Guidance Office and at – Due March

Michele Barnhart Hires Scholarship - Awarded to a graduating senior at Daleville Junior/Senior High School who plans to attend either a recognized Indiana post-high school educational facility (college, junior college, trade school, etc.) or Pepperdine University.  Applicants must have a B or C grade point average. This scholarship is designed to honor the achievements of those students who may not receive other major scholarship awards, and preference will be given to those applicants when selecting a recipient. - Information available in Guidance Office and at – Due March
2017 Michele Barnhart Hires Scholarship Application

Kappa Kappa Kappa Philanthropic Sorority of Muncie - A high school student who is completing his/her senior year and has maintained a 3.2 grade point average on a 4.0 scale, and a combined score of 1050 on the math and critical reading sections of SAT or an ACT Composite Score of 23 or better. Selection is based on scholastic excellence, high school leadership activities, participation in community/church activities or employment history and financial need.  Eligible students must attend an Indiana College or University the next academic year. – Due March

Dr. Ferrell W. Dunn Memorial Scholarship Fund - Awarded to students from Delaware County, Delaware schools who have demonstrated an aptitude and desire to study and practice medicine. – Due April

Dwight and Virginia Deen Schoeff Scholarship - Preference given to students pursuing a career in music education and other teaching careers, must be a graduate of a Delaware County high school, be of good moral character, a good citizen, demonstrate an earnest desire to become a teacher or complete their education in their chosen field, minimum 3.0 GPA, and attend an accredited college or university – Due April

Delaware County Old Timers Basketball Sectional Scholarship Fund - Be a son/daughter, grandson/granddaughter, etc. of a participant in a Delaware County Old Timers Basketball Sectional. Earn at least two varstiy letters during their senior year of high school. Be an Indiana resident. Enroll in the fall in a full-time undergraduate course of study at a post secondary school in Indiana accredited by the NCACS. Be nominated by a team representative and/or assistant team representative. - Call 765-747-5446  Information also available in Guidance Office – Due April

Indiana Oil & Gas Association Scholarships - Graduating senior or currently enrolled in a post-secondary education program, 3.0 GPA or better, financial need, interest in the oil and gas industry, resident of Indiana or attending an Indiana college, pursuing a bachelor's degree -   - Due April

 Indiana Sheriffs’ Association Scholarship - Students Pursing an Education and Career in Law enforcement. - - Due April

Mary Louise Walburn Scholarship - A student must be a Delaware County resident, and must be accepted as a full time student at a Indiana college or university.  - Information available in Guidance Office – Due April

"Making Dreams Happen" Sponsored by the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Dream Team  - Must be a senior in a Delaware county school, have GPA of 2.5 or higher, be a student in good standing, and must have been accepted to an accredited Indiana vocational, college or university for the fall - - Due April

The Summit Salon Academy "Get Inspired Scholarship" - A $3000 scholarship for senior who is planning on attending the Salon Professional Academy. - Information available in Guidance Office – Due April

Ruthanna Cummins Scholarship - Student must be a graduating senior from Delaware County, attending an accredited school of nursing and demonstrates financial need. – Due April

Daleville Lions Club - This scholarship will awarded to a Daleville Senior who has demonstrated community service and financial need.

Michael Lautzenheiser Scholarship - Seniors - This scholarship honors a Delaware County resident who was killed in action in Vietnam back in 1971.The application requires an essay and will be awarded based on:need, integrity, faith, sportsmanship, friendship, and service. 

Muncie Exchange Club Scholarship - A student must graduate form a Delaware County high school who will attend Ball State next fall.

Phi Delta Kappa Scholarship - A senior high student who is planning on majoring in education is attending an accredited Indiana college or University -

RMHC U.S. Scholarships - High School senior younger than 21 years old, eligible to attend a 2 or 4 year college or university, legal U.S. resident -

Youth Activity Fund Student Grants - High school students dedicated to the advancement of scientific knowledge of the world -
